Wyoming post-mortem

March 11th 2008 01:42
On Saturday, a Democratic caucus was held in Wyoming. The results are as follows:

Obama won with 61% of the votes. Clinton had 38%. Based on news reports, the turnout was exponentially higher than in previous years.

Takeaways:

It was a win for Obama, but it wasn't that significant. There were only a few delegates awarded. Obama has done well in caucuses and he won this caucus as well. He has done well in smaller states, while Hillary has done well in larger states. This was a small state and Obama won it. Obama still leads in delegates, but upcoming contests will be more instrumental than Wyoming in helping determine whom the Democratic nominee will be.

Up next: Mississippi

67
Vote
