Idaho post-mortem (R only)

On Tuesday, the Republican Party held its Idaho primary. The results were as follows:

Republicans --
McCain: 70%
Not McCain: 30%

Takeaways:

Republicans --
It was the same story for McCain in Idaho. 30% of GOP voters rejected him -- even while knowing he will win the nomination. McCain has a lot of work to do.

Up next (excluding Puerto Rico): June 3rd -- MT and SD for the Dems and NM and SD for the GOP.

Hey PopulistConservative If one third of the GOP keeps rejecting MacCain in Nov. that could spell disaster for him. I believe it's going to take a huge turn out of the base, the majority of the independent voters, and a lot of cross over dems to win.

McCain likes to say that he appeals to Independents. He will have to get pretty much all of them if conservatives don't turn out in November.

It must be really awful, PopCon, to get so few votes when you're the only candidate in the race! He sure has a job ahead of him!

I think RuPaul is still in the race, SL. He made a non-withdrawal withdrawal a while back, but he later claimed that he was still in it. Still, the race is over. I think RuPaul just likes the attention.
