Bush is Captain Obvious

In a recent interview, our outgoing president showed some of the keen insightfulness that has made him such a great leader:
Do you think, Mr. President? Do you? And you figured this out all on your own? Whoever said that you weren't the sharpest tack in the drawer was clearly pulling our leg. Here's a thought. Perhaps you could've been a little less of a failure at your job and the GOP would've had a chance. You turned your back on the conservative movement and that, coupled with the general incompetence of your presidency, contributed greatly to the decimation of the Republican Party in November's election. If that was your goal, then congratulations. You deserve a hearty "Mission Accomplished!"
Now, Mr. President, feel free to resume fiddling while Rome burns.
President Bush told an interviewer that his presidency may have helped Barack Obama win the White House.
"I think it was a repudiation of Republicans," he told Charlie Gibson of ABC News, according to a transcript released by the network Monday. "And I'm sure some people voted for Barack Obama because of me.
