Third nominee has tax troubles

When it rains, it pours. We already knew about the tax troubles of Timothy Geithner and Tom Daschle. Now, yet another of Barack Obama's nominees has been tripped up because of tax issues. That's three if you're keeping a scorecard. This time, it's Obama's nominee for "chief performance officer":
Was Obama TRYING to pick people who didn't pay their taxes? This must be some kind of record (in futility) for a president. I thought Obama had an extensive vetting process. Perhaps one of the questions should've been, "Do you pay your taxes?" That could have saved him a lot of trouble and embarrassment.
The White House just released a copy of the letter that Nancy Killefer has sent to President Obama, withdrawing her name from consideration as the administration's chief performance officer. In it, she cites her "personal tax issue" as being "the kind of distraction" the president doesn't need
